What is your special talent and how long have you been doing it?

I have been dancing since I was 2. I dance in all styles and love to compete and perform.

Why do you love performing this talent so much?

I feel my best when I am dancing. It is the way I express myself. I love sharing my passion with others and telling a story through my dance. When I can make someone who is watching me feel something, it makes me happy!

What is your biggest talent dream and why?

I would love to be in a dance movie and one day be a choreographer.

Did you ever feel a struggle to keep going or sometimes want to give up? If so, how did you overcome it?

There are lots of hard days and struggles and it’s not always easy to keep going. I have had many different injuries which is always hard to push through and feel like your not falling behind. It is also sometimes hard when you start comparing yourself to others and don’t feel as good. I try my very best to keep my attention on myself and my dreams and know that if I want dance in my future, I cannot give up.

Why do you think it is important for talent to learn the spirit of contribution to the greater good and use their talent for good?

I think the best thing about having a talent or a voice that people listen to is to use it for good. I love helping others and if my dance can help motivate others or make them smile then it makes me happy.

Who are some of your biggest influences and how do they inspire you?

I am inspired by all of my dance teachers and many dancers who are older than me who are living their dreams. Specifically, Tate McRae who trained so many hours as a dancer and never gave up and is living her dreams now. Also one of my inspirations is Autumn Miller who is working as a dancer, model, influencer and also teacher and choreographer. I know that both of these incredible dancers worked so many hours when they were my age and sacrificed so much for everything they have gotten.

My teachers encourage me every day to be a better human and artist and to always believe and trust in myself

What’s your favorite memory of performing your talent?

One of my favorite memories was being on Canada’s Got Talent and dancing for the judges.

What is your best piece of advice you would give to any talent out there?

Don’t be hard on yourself. It’s a journey to get to where you want and everyone’s journey looks different so just focus on yourself.
