There are two ways people enter the contest.

1. Some people find the site and enter the contest on their own. When that happens and the performer decides not to donate to a charity then only the entry fee goes to Charities Love Talent. We use that money to provide awesome prizes, maintain the website, hire staff at events, advertising, marketing and even to buy paper clips. And we also set aside funds to support some of our favorite charities like UNICEF and others.
2. Some people see an announcement from a charity or cause with a unique link to enter the contest. When anyone clicks that link and goes to our website and enters, they pay the entry fee and if they choose to donate any additional amount on the charities website then 100% of that donation goes directly and immediately to that charity or cause that posted the link anywhere online, in an email, on social media, even on a poster, etc. See our Top Charities page to find your favorite.

Because we do our best to cover our operational cost with just the entry fee. We come from the NGO world and know how tough it is to raise money and for sure we didn’t want to give a charity or cause only 20% like many restaurant fundraisers do. And we didn’t want to ask tightly budgeted charities to spend money upfront and buy something from us like candy bars and then do all the work to sell them and still make 50% when they can just give us a try and get 100% by a simple email blast or social post.

No. Our mission and goal is to help nonprofits and worthy causes raise funds to help those in need, and cover our costs to keep the best professionals on board  We do not earn any money from any donations. We are similar to the Gates Foundation as we support multiple charities at the same time. We have 203 vetted charity partners available to receive benefit from CLT and 34 currently that we feature directly to participants, voters and the general public in efforts to grow their base and donation revenue. We make sure we have categories and prizes available for all levels of talent from hobbyist/amateur all the way up to the seasoned pros. It’s an even playing field for all and public voting rules combined with internal scoring make sure it’s not just a popularity contest. Someone with few friends/relatives has the same chance as someone that has many friends ready to vote for them.

If you have a coupon code, it is linked to your name and email and may only be used once. You may not share your code with others or you may be disqualified.

If you’re having trouble entering your video look for these things first:

1- Red Error messages on the Entry form fields (incorrect email format, video URL format, all required fields complete, etc.)

2- Video url cannot be Instagram Reel url, regular Instagram video post url is okay. Regular Youtube url’s are best, Facebook, Vimeo, Daily Motion, are all okay but no others. (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram do not show thumbnail image on Videos page so it is best to use Youtube.)

3- You do not need a Paypal account, you can use any major credit card as a Paypal guest. (No Venmo, Apply Pay, Crypto, etc.)

4- If the Paypal window or the Add Video page is not showing after you click the red Secure Entry button, read this to make sure you turn off any pop up blockers like AdBlocker, etc.

5- If you are entering a second or more videos, that’s ok, just follow Contestant log in details, click here for info.
