| What is your special talent and how long have you been doing it? |
My special talent is playing the piano. I’ve been playing since April 2024, so it’s been approximately 10 months. |
| Why do you love performing this talent so much? |
It serves as an outlet for me to express emotions I struggle to convey verbally. |
| What is your biggest talent dream and why? |
My biggest dream would be to connect with people through various ways, however, for the sake of the interview, I’ll go with music and playing the piano. |
| Did you ever feel a struggle to keep going or sometimes want to give up? If so, how did you overcome it? |
Not necessarily. For me, playing the piano is somewhat an obsession. I can sit on it for five hours at a time. That is what has allowed me to grow so much in the little time that I’ve been playing. |
| Why do you think it is important for talent to learn the spirit of contribution to the greater good and use their talent for good? |
I believe that the very core of humanity is love. That can be embodied in different ways. Either through greeting a person and acknowledging their existence, giving them a hand or even expressing yourself and allowing for there to be vulnerability. By sharing my music, I believe that I’m am sharing my love for the piano, and thus I’m extending that same love to others. |
| Who are some of your biggest influences and how do they inspire you? |
I’m a Christian, so my answer would have to be Jesus Christ. As a follower of Christ, I look to embody his teachings and all that he was. |
| What’s your favorite memory of performing your talent? |
I would say improvising with random people who I just met. They would sing while I play the piano. |
| What is your best piece of advice you would give to any talent out there? |
Offer yourself grace. You won’t pick it up immediately, so be patient with yourself. |
