How long have you been helping people with their talent and what got you into it?

I’ve always had a passion for singing, and have really enjoyed helping vocalists develop their talent for the past two decades.

What has been most satisfying for you in your journey?

The most satisfying part of my journey has been training singers to develop both the technical skills and the emotional vulnerability needed to pull off a great performance.

How did you learn the professional skills you share with others today?  Who or what influences played into that?

I received a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Ottawa, in Canada.  I’m also continuously researching the most cutting-edge vocal techniques.

Did you ever feel a struggle to keep going or sometimes want to give up?  If so, how did you overcome it?

For a long time, I created music to please others and to get validation, rather than truly enjoying music for its own sake.  I had to take some time away from it for the passion to come back, and to return stronger than ever.

What are your thoughts on the concept of helping talent learn the spirit of contribution to the greater good and using their talent for good?

I think it’s important to always keep an eye out for how your passion can benefit others.

Do you have other future aspirations for yourself, your business or training of others?

My future aspirations are to keep training the next generation of singers to sound great, and to be as authentic as possible.

Please share any standout moments in your experience that would inspire other performers.

Honestly, my biggest standout moment wasn’t being on a big stage or writing a hit song.  I started enjoying music the most when I stopped seeking other people’s validation.  That’s when I knew I had made it, in my own way.

What is your best piece of advice you would give to any talent out there?

Find what is unique about yourself, and lean into it, rather than shying away from it.
